Hello Members
How are all of you?… Hope everyone is doing fine! The Holidays are upon us and the beginning of another New Year is just around the bend. This year will be a milestone for CCRI, with 2014 being our 50th Anniversary. This will be a great and special year for our club. We will have many things to do and I would like it to be a year to remember…..in a good way, lol
I would like to take a moment and thank all of CCRI’s Elected Officers and Appointees for their time, efforts and hard work that each and everyone has contributed to this club over the past year. Because of all their hard work, we’re a very successful club, successful in the sense of making new friends while continuing to build on old relationships. This doesn’t happen by coincidence, it happens because we care, we look out for each other and we’re passionate about our club.
As your president for the past three years, I can honestly say we’ve made many changes for the betterment of the club. I’m honored to have had this opportunity to serve you.
Please take time out of your busy holiday schedule to attend December’s Business Meeting and vote. I’m happy to see some new names on the ballots this year. It’s exciting to see Members stepping-up to be Officers of this club. Good Luck to all of the Nominees.
This year’s Christmas Party will be a blast. Kay has planned a three Entrée Buffet which includes; Seafood Newburg, Chicken Francaise & Tenderloin Tips and for dessert, did I say dessert? The membership voted for a “make your own Ice Cream Sundae Bar”. Oh, btw, during one of the band breaks, we’re going to unveil a BIG surprise to all of you.
On a much lighter note; Rosemary and I would like to wish you all a very Happy and Healthy Holiday Season. We look forward to seeing everyone at our Christmas Party.
